The Changan Uni-K 2.0 is already a standout on Russian roads thanks to its bold, modern design and well-thought-out interior. But after chip tuning, this Chinese crossover transforms into an entirely different car, giving the owner thrilling new driving experiences.
This vehicle attracts attention not only with its stylish gray paint and daring exterior but also with its thoughtfully designed cabin: a large central console divides the space into two separate cockpits, and sculpted seats made of high-quality materials ensure comfort even on long trips. In the base configuration, the Changan Uni-K is equipped with a powerful 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 226 hp and 380 Nm of torque, which, combined with an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission, delivers confident performance and smooth driving.
However, the engine’s power is limited for the Russian market. This is where chip tuning comes in—a procedure that restores the engine’s true potential. We increase power by +44 hp and torque by +50 Nm, bringing the figures to 270 hp and 430 Nm.
This significantly improves dynamics: 0–100 km/h acceleration drops from 10.23 to 9.21 seconds—more than a second faster, which feels like a noticeable boost in responsiveness on the road.
Additionally, chip tuning eliminates throttle lag, making the car’s response more lively and predictable. This is especially important when overtaking and maneuvering, enhancing both safety and driving comfort. The transmission also becomes more responsive, adapting to the updated engine parameters.
As for fuel consumption, the myth of increased fuel use after chip tuning is debunked: thanks to engine optimization and improved efficiency, consumption often even decreases by 1–2 liters per 100 km in city driving. Of course, if the driver continues to constantly “push the pedal,” there will be no savings, but with moderate driving, the car becomes more economical.
The firmware is installed via the OBD diagnostic port, without removing parts or disabling environmental systems, ensuring safety and preservation of the factory warranty. Gear shifting and engine operation are tuned according to the increased power, ensuring smoothness and reliability.
